Biography: |
Lois
Oberlander Condie, Ph.D., is a faculty member
affiliated with Boston Children’s Hospital Boston/Harvard Medical School who
has taught on an adjunct basis at Boston College, Boston University, Brandeis
University, and Harvard University. She has taught and supervised assessment
training at Boston Children's Hospital, U-Mass Medical School, and the
University of Virginia. She received her master’s and doctoral degrees from the
University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Dr. Condie
is board certified in neuropsychology with the American Board of Pediatric
Neuropsychology, and dually board certified in clinical and forensic psychology
with the American Board of Professional Psychology. Her research and practice
focuses on service provision to vulnerable populations, brain and vascular
malformations, cerebral palsy, agenesis/dysgenesis of the corpus callosum,
genetic syndromes, autism, CHARGE, infantile seizures and hemispherectomies,
Dandy Walker syndrome, intraventricular hemorrhage, and other brain
conditions.
She also is a nationally recognized
expert on evaluations of children and families involved with the care and
protection system, child protection policies and regulations, children’s
learning needs and associated policies and regulations, preservation of human
rights for vulnerable populations internationally, psychological and legal
conceptions of privacy, and ethics in psychological practice. She is a Fellow
of the American Psychological Association and she has served on national
committees relevant to ethics and standards of practice, family law, family
privacy, neuropsychology, and forensic psychology. She is the author of many
journal articles and book chapters.
